Laptops are portable folding computers that usually include a monitor, CPU, Keyboard, and pointing device all in one case. If your computer is like this, you have a laptop.
Desktops are larger, stationary computers. They usually don't include a built-in monitor, keyboard, or mouse. Most desktops are tall, and deep, and have many electrical ports on the back.
Servers are very powerful computers used mostly for storing large amounts of data for redistribution, like in the case of webpages. Many servers are mounted in a rack, so that they can sit in a cabinet with other servers. Others are housed in very large cases.
